What is Food Intolerance?

Food intolerance is an unpleasant physical reaction of your body after eating certain foods.   This is associated with the immune system, which is the body’s defence mechanism against foreign intruders, like pathogenic bacteria.  When we have a food intolerance, then that food product is treated as an intruder and the immune system produces antibodies as a defence mechanism.

The reactions triggered by food intolerance are inflammatory and can be directly linked with various diseases and chronic health conditions that torment the human organism.  Furthermore, the overactive immune system can predispose the human organism to various diseases.
